CourtCare have carried out squash court renovations and a maintenance at a number of David Lloyd clubs over the past year, including Bristol Long Ashton, Cheadle, Teesside and Utrecht in Holland. We have recently installed a new dance studio floor at Cheadle and over 250m2 of new flooring in the dance studios at their newly-opened flagship club in Exeter. As part of a major club upgrade we have just completed installation of two new glass-backed CourtTech courts at the Leeds club. See FEATURED PROJECTS for more information and photographs

Chapel Allerton Squash Club, Leeds

One of Yorkshire’s premier squash & tennis venues, and one of the leading clubs in the country, Chapel Allerton Squash were NSL champions in 2009. Our scope of works at this prestigious venue was to clean all 6 courts (3 glass-backed) sand & re-mark 3 floors and lift & re-lay 2 of the floors which had become unplayable following the failure of the underlying cradle support system

Prestbury Squash Club, Cheshire

The first private members’ club in Cheshire, Prestbury SC was founded in 1965 and has 4 courts. Prestbury SC has 6 men’s teams in the NWCSL. Our scope of works: clean all 4 courts, lift and lre-lay and refurbish the original maple floors with new undercarriage, sand & re-mark.

The Northern, Manchester

The Northern is the biggest and probably the best-known squash club in the NWSCL, and Manchester's most famous tennis venue. The Northern has 6 squash courts, two of which are glass-backed. Our scope of works: clean all 6 courts and sand & re-mark 3 floors.

Alderley Edge Cricket Club, Cheshire

Alderley Edge Cricket Club is one of Cheshire's premier sports clubs, with a wide variety of facilities - cricket, tennis, hockey and squash (4 courts). CourtCare have been awarded the contract to install a CourtTech renovation wall - a new WSF approved high-density panel system.

Queens’ College Cambridge

Queens' College has been a centre of learning for more than 550 years and boasts a rich, complex and varied history. Amongst the sports facilities provided for staff and students are three squash courts which have recently been given a major overhaul by CourtCare, including complete re-plastering of the side walls and replacing one of the court floors. We also sanded and re-marked the other courts and the badminton court.
Bowdon is one of Cheshire’s famous sports clubs with origins dating back over 150 years. The club is run by players and ex players and fields an the impressive number of teams for cricket, hockey and squash. CourtCare has refurbished Bowdon’s 4 squash courts including installing a new CourtTech renovation front wall - our new WSF approved high-density panel system.

Royal Air Force Club

The Royal Air Force Club was founded in 1918 as a place where serving and ex-serving officers could entertain, socialise and play sport. The RAF Club Squash Team competes for the Bath Cup - a league comprising the most reputable clubs in London. CourtCare is proud to have been chosen to refurbish this presitigious club’s squash court.

The Naval & Military Club

Established in 1862 by a group of officers to create a home-from-home social environment in the heart of London, the Naval & Military Club is one of the oldest and most popular establishments of its kind in the world. Past members include famous figures such as Lawrence of Arabia and Scott of the Antarctic. Perhaps better known by its nickname, the "In and Out", the club has a wide range of fitness and leisure facilities - the squash court recently refurbished by CourtCare reputedly being the oldest private squash court in London!
Founded over 130 years ago Wrekin College is one of Shropshire’s finest schools. The college is a co-educational boarding and day school with an excellent academic reputation and wide range of sports facilities. The college has two squash courts which CourtCare recently refurbished: the front wall plaster was renewed; side and back walls cleaned and floors sanded & re-marked.

Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham campus, Wiltshire

The Defence Academy is the UK's Defence higher educational establishment, responsible for post-graduate education and for training of members of the Armed Forces and MOD civilian servants. The Shrivenham campus of this prestigious national institution has 6 squash courts. CourtCare have been chosen to clean their 6 squash courts and sand & re-mark the floors.

Penwortham Leisure Centre

Penwortham Leisure Centre is a local authority-run centre offering a wide range of activities: fitness, swimming and racket sports. As part of a major refurbishment one of the squash courts has been converted into a dance studio, in which CourtCare have installed a new Junckers’ floor. The two remaining squash courts have been cleaned and renovated.

Glasgow Club Bellahouston

Glasgow Club Bellahouston is the largest council-operated leisure centre in the city providing an extensive range of health & fitness activities: gymnastics, spinning, Pilates, fitness, swimming and racket sports. CourtCare have recently renovated their glass-backed squash court and installed a replacement front wall.

Broadmeadow Sports Centre, South Devon

Teignbridge District Council chose CourtCare to a carry out a comprehensive programme of refurbishment for their courts, including patching, repairing and application of CT High-Performance Wall Coating to the playwalls, sanding & re-marking the floors, installation of new Armourcoat tins and re-painting the out-of-play wall areas.

Hyndburn Leisure Centre, Lancashire

Hyndburn is the largest leisure centre operated by the borough council, with a total of four squash courts dating from the construction of the original centre in the early 1970s. The centre has recently been awarded development funds by England Squash & Racketball to improve their squash facilities. Working with our associate company CourtTech we have installed two new panel-system CT Renovation front walls, to cure persistent problems with the old plastered surfaces. The other playwalls in all four courts were repaired and renovated using CT High-Performance Wall Coating, and all floors were repaired, machine-sanded and re-lined. All courts had their old wooden doors replaced with toughened glass doors to improve spectating, coaching and supervision.

Parkwood Leisure Centres, Midlands

With a portfolio of over 80 facilities and 27 clients in England and Wales Parkwood Leisure is one of the largest and most successful management companies in the UK, specialising in the development and operation of leisure facilities on behalf of local authority and private clients. Parkwood chose CourtCare UK to refurbish and carry out maintenance work at three of its Staffordshire centres: Brough Park in Leek where two front walls were completely replaced, and the courts generally upgraded; at South Moorlands in Cheadle and at Biddulph Valley.
