Installed in October 2017, the average court usage had been 55 hours per month, following the installation it increased to 144 hours in November, and 169 hours in December.
The court cost was free in October, however a charge was applied to the interactive court from the 1st November, the major growth in usage was during daytime hours, with promotional events such as children’s birthday parties, and schools playing a variety of squash based games.
A major factor in the success was the local health centre, using the low impact games for rehabilitation and stimulation of various people of all ages. There is no doubt that Interactive squash is the future of growth in the game.
